Accurate device inventory, made easier

Users can now edit key device identifiers, including IP address, MAC address, and serial number for natively-connected, Edge and C2C devices. This makes it easier to fill inventory gaps, support network troubleshooting, and maintain reliable device records across deployments.

To update a device identifier, open the device, go to the device information panel, and click the edit icon next to the IP address, MAC address, or serial number. Enter the updated value and save. Some fields may be read-only depending on the device connection method and the manufacturer’s model-level settings. The latest device-reported values remain available in the device details tab.
